I have years of experience teaching philosophy to students at the New School, St. Francis College, and Pace University. I have lectured to auditoriums and I’ve managed small seminars. But I have most enjoyed mentoring students individually, familiarizing them with the “canon” and passing on some of my passion for the subject. My aim as a tutor is always to make philosophy more approachable – even thrilling! – to students.

If you are struggling with philosophy for any reason, or if you are simply curious about it, I can help. I work with students to make even the most obscure topics manageable. You can expect “customized” lessons, tailored to your background, interests, and educational level, to ensure a great experience in philosophy.

Finally, if you are anxious about writing term papers, I will be happy to guide you through all the steps involved. After grading thousands of student exams and essays, I know exactly what is required to produce great papers, and I’ll work with you until you’ve made it there.

Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have about my tutoring services, or to schedule a free 20-minute consultation soon.

“He is an amazing teacher and I hope I can have him again for philosophy. I didn't like philosophy to begin with but he made me really enjoy it. Great at explaining the material, and does a good job with helping students if they don't understand something”
